Ke$ha's Unicorn Party

I never thought I'd be doing a blog about Ke$ha. But the world continues to surprise me with its strange, unexpected delights.

Browsing through the world of YouTube this morning, I discovered that the pop star's latest hit "Blow" has one of the most ridiculous (and nonsensically funny) music videos EVER.

The song's the type of techno, blood-pumping hit that usually has a dance club setting video to go along with it. Instead, Ke$ha is hanging out in a Gothic-style room with a bunch of unicorn-headed folks. The unicorns were too much to resist--I had to blog about it.

AND James Van Der Beek is in the video. (Cue hearts in the eyes of young girls across the globe)

If you're not familiar with James, he's a teen idol from the late 90's show Dawson's Creek and the movie Varsity Blues. He's also the subject of a lot of jokes because really, with a name like that, how can one resist? And Ke$ha can't either.

Greatest thing of all is James goes right along with putting himself at the center of the goofiness in her zany video. He makes fun of himself, which wins him major cool points in my book. He even...well, you'll just have to watch.

And since I'm having issues finding the embedding code, click here to watch the "Blow" music video!

It's a strange one--don't say I didn't warn you! Have a thrilling Thursday, all!
